Rose Marie Neurock

Rose Marie Neurock, née Aiello, 84, longtime resident of Addison, passed away December 2, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Richard Lee; loving mother of Dan (Stacey), David (Kimberly) and Matthew (Dory);  cherished grandmother of Alicia (Joe) Francione, Jeffrey (Rachael) Neurock, Jacqueline (Andrew) Hoeft and Gabriella, Nicole, Sabrina and Isabella Neurock; adored great grandmother of Aryana, Rosella and Milayna Francione; dearest sister of the late Evelyn Nagy and Raymond Aiello; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Rose was quite social with an extraordinary sense of humor and adored by everyone she ever met.  She enjoyed time spent in the kitchen and was an excellent cook and baker, particularly known for her delicious pizza.  Rose was always active and was a member of the Addison Seniors and the Addison Women’s Club.  She was also an avid reader, frequently participating in a book club.  Rose’s all-time favorite activity was shopping and she was the ultimate coupon collector.  She had a coupon for just about everything and would even bribe the sales clerks with candy to secure the best deals possible!  Rose also enjoyed the occasional gambling excursion and loved to play the slots in Vegas or local casinos.  She loved her Friday night out with the “girls” for dinner and cards afterward, delighted in all the entertainment and movies she could watch on TV and loved all things Christmas.  Rose was passionate about her family and deeply loved by all who knew her.  She will be profoundly missed and never forgotten.

Visitation Friday, Dec. 7th, 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd. (at Prospect), Itasca where a funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 8th at 10:00 a.m.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
