Barbara Ann (Smietana) Limbach

Barbara Ann Limbach, nee Smietana, of Plainfield and former lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away February 6th, 2021.  Beloved wife of the late Robert; loving mother of Melissa (Arturo) Baez; cherished grandmother of Mikey, Eric, Grace and Xander and great grandmother of Robbie; devoted daughter of the late Ted and Anne, nee Maas; dear sister of three and fond aunt of many.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 10th, 10:30 AM at St. Mary Immaculate Mary Parish, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield.  Graveside interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. 

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, St. Mary Immaculate Parish will allow up to fifty (50) people for the Funeral Mass.  All visitors must register in advance (see below) in order to attend the Mass.  In accordance with local, state and national mandates, those entering the church are required to wear a face covering.  The family appreciates your sincere cooperation during these very challenging and difficult times.  If you do not feel well, it is recommended that you stay home and rest.
