Virginia Fiarito, affectionately known as Ginny, aged 79, of Vernon Hills, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025.

Virginia dedicated many years of her career as a paralegal in the bustling legal landscape of downtown Chicago, where she was employed by esteemed firms such as Bell, Boyd and Lloyd and K & L Gates. During her tenure, she had the privilege of working alongside Cameron Avery, who remained a loyal, supportive and dear friend throughout her life.

A true lover of life, Ginny had a passion for puzzles, board games, knitting, and crocheting. She was an avid fan of the White Sox and the Blackhawks, always cheering for her teams with infectious enthusiasm.

Above all, family was at the heart of Ginny's life. She cherished her nieces and nephews, and adored every moment spent with their families and their beloved four-legged companions.  Ginny treasured the moments spent reminiscing about the past and the warmth of gatherings with her loved ones. She will also be remembered for her incredibly quick wit.

Ginny is survived by her nieces and nephews, Frank (Christine), Cathy (the late Terry) Moran, Dan (Maureen), Kelly, Kerri (Chase) Bentley, Dino (Kris), Anthony (Heather) and Ricci (Lindsay); great nieces and nephews, Antonio, Isabella, Sofia, Patrick (Jackie), Danielle, Jake, Corey, Jet, Viola, Madisen, Payton, Allison, Carmen, Kainen and Luca; and many extended cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ann (Steinmetz) Fiarito; her brothers, the late Frank (Lyn) and the late Jerry (Roberta); and a sister in law, the late Ann.

Service and interment are private at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Virginia Fiarito will always hold a special place in our hearts, and her spirit will live on in the stories we share and the love we carry forward.
