Victor construyó un imperio para darle a su familia todo lo posible. Él le dio a su familia hasta las cosas que ni ellos mismos sabían que necesitaban. Ese era el tipo de hombre que siempre fue. No había persona a la que no ayudará. Si le pedías un favor, la palabra “no” no existía en su vocabulario. Y si por alguna razón no sabía como, él encontraba la persona que te ayudara. Pero no le dejaba la tarea a esa persona - él se ponía al lado para aprender cómo ayudar al próximo que lo necesitara. Aprender lo llenaba de alegría. Margarita Dolores Garcia, la madre de Victor, tenía un propósito muy inmenso en su vida. El siempre se aseguró de que ella se sintiera querida y cuidada. Ella le dio lo mejor de su vida y él se aseguró de entregárselo de nuevo con su hermana Dolores Celene Gutierrez Garcia y Jose Felipe Gutierrez Garcia. Victor cuido de su mamá hasta el último día de la vida de ella y sabemos que en este momento están juntos y abrazados. Los dos ahora cuidan a toda la familia y están tranquilos en las manos de Dios. Como hermano, Victor siempre ayudó a Celene y a Felipe sin ninguna falla. Cuidó de ellos como ellos cuidaron de él. Los tres se agarraron de la mano desde niños para salir adelante con Mamalolita. Y así siempre fue, Celene fue la princesa de Victor que el cuidaba y protegía y Felipe su hermano mayor, su mejor amigo.

Si eras amigo de el, Victor te trataba como familia. Platicaba con todos sus vecinos, con trabajadores, con cualquier persona que se le atravesara. Su voz y sus cuentos llenaban cualquier espacio con un carisma que dejaba a todos más contentos y hasta inspirados.

And if he didn’t know how to help, he would find someone who could — and stand right next to them so he could learn how to help the next person himself. Learning brought him joy. His curiosity led him to beautiful and unique experiences throughout his life.

Victor’s heart knew no bounds — it lived and expanded in the hearts of those around him. He met his wife Mary 30 years ago and lived a beautiful love story with her. Together, they faced the world hand in hand, coming to a new country and building a life, step by step. They learned how to overcome any challenge, knowing that as long as they were together, there was nothing to fear. Even in silence, the way he looked at her radiated pride and love that needed no words.

He always said he chose the mother of his children from the very beginning — because he knew she would love them like no one else could. And so it was, when their daughter Michelle Gutierrez and their son Bryan Gutierrez were born. Victor gave them his entire world and used all his wisdom to guide them toward God and a life full of victories that made him immensely proud. His children have always said that God couldn’t have given them a better father. A dad who made them laugh without even trying, simply by being himself. A dad who always had the right words and answers to help them through. With him, they were never afraid of the world — his strength was contagious. And they will carry that strength forever, knowing he is watching over them and their mother from heaven.

Victor's mother, Margarita Dolores Garcia, had a profound purpose in his life. He always made sure she felt loved and cared for. She gave him the best of her life, and he gave it back — alongside his sister Dolores Celene Gutierrez and brother Jose Felipe Gutierrez.
