Vickie (Georgeopoulos) Vasilopoulos

Vickie Vasilopoulos, nee Georgeopoulos, 92, born in Mousta, Messinia, Greece and longtime resident of Chicago, passed away June 8, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Nick; loving mother of Peter (Eleni) and Gus (Erin); cherished grandmother of Jack, Niko, Billy, Alexia, Kelli, Alex and Gia; dearest sister of Chris (Vaso) Georgeopoulos and the late Pitsa (the late Kostas) Kosmas and the late Eugenia (Paraskeva) Zaglaris; fond aunt and Godmother of many.  Visitation Monday, June 12, 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 2701 N. Sheffield Ave., Chicago.  Interment Montrose Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church or Alzheimer’s Association .
