Robert M. Hunter

Robert M. “Bob” Hunter, age 91, of Hanover Park, passed away May 18, 2023.  Beloved husband of the late Carol Ann, nee Brougham; loving father of Cheryl Ann and Michael R. (the late Patricia) Hunter; devoted son of the late Walter and the late Bernice Mysliwiec; cherished grandfather of Robert; dearest brother of Wally (Marcia), Marlene Ferraro and the late Richard (Betty) Mysliwiec; dear brother in the law of the late Jetto Ferraro; treasured uncle of Rodney (Rose) Mysliwiec, Ricky (Kelly) DuPont-Mysliwiec and Robin, Ray Ann and Rory Mysliwiec, Pamela (Frank) Kondelik, Jeffrey (Kim) Mysliwiec, Michelle and Craig Ferraro and the late Rory Mysliwiec; fond great uncle of many.

Bob served in the Marine Corp for 2 years during the Korean Campaign.  He owned A & H Engineering, a small machine shop in Addison where he worked as a mechanical engineer and handled government contracts for large companies such as Northrup, AT&T and Kellogg.  Bob was a champion swimmer in his younger years.  He also loved fishing, hunting and was an all-around outdoorsman.

Visitation Wednesday, May 24th, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 25th at 10:00 a.m.  Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
