Patricia Jean Hauschildt, of Schaumburg, passed away on April 22, 2025, in Northlake, Illinois, at the age of 78.
Pat dedicated a significant part of her professional life to the banking industry at Continental Bank, which later became Bank of America. Her commitment to her work was evident, and she maintained strong friendships with her colleagues long after her retirement.
A graduate of Madonna High School in Chicago in 1965, she carried the values she learned throughout her life. Patricia was known for her quiet demeanor but balanced this with a wicked sense of humor that endeared her to many. Her generosity was perhaps her finest quality—an attribute that defined her interactions with family and friends alike. She was a lovely, caring, and generous person who made a positive impact in the lives of those around her.
Patricia found great joy in being crafty, engaging in activities such as knitting, crocheting, rug making, and flower arrangements. These interests reflected her creative spirit, which she generously shared with her loved ones.
Pat is survived by her loving cousins, Eileen Zakrzewski, Peggy Foster, Robert Weiland, Mary Gaughan, Lil McHale, Sean Bourke, Pat Bourke, Kevin Bourke and Richard Bourke; her cherished lifelong friend, Frances Mazulla as well as Frances's daughter Stacy (Jason) McCargo and their children, Will, Evan and Amelia, with whom Pat was very close to and lovingly referred to her as 'Oma'; and her dear roommate for 14 years, Ingrid Heinrich, and her son Kevin Heinrich.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Hauschildt and Lillian Hauschildt (nee Barrett); her sister, Joanne Hauschildt; several aunts and uncles, including Anna Cannata, Patrick Barrett, Richard Barrett, Molly Barrett, Jean Chmelar, Eileen Bourke; and her cousin, Eileen O'Loughlin.
A Funeral Service to honor Pat will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at All Saints Cemetery (interment chapel), 700 N. River Road in Des Plaines, Illinois, with her burial to follow there at All Saints Cemetery.
Patricia Jean Hauschildt's remarkable spirit and loving heart will continue to resonate within the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
