Misty Lauren Duensing

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Misty Lauren Duensing, nee Dillon, age 64, who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at her residence in Dixon, Illinois.

She was born on February 12, 1962, in Evanston, Illinois, and raised three children; Crystal, Julia, and Faith. Misty was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Crystal Lynn Noel, and her parents, Charles Dillon and Elsie Dillon, nee Weimer. She is survived by her daughters, Julia and Faith Duensing, who were the center of her world and carry forward her legacy of love, resilience, and strength.

Misty will be remembered for her kind and loving heart, and for the deep care she had for others, especially animals. She found comfort and joy in volunteering at the local animal shelter and had a special place in her heart for every animal she met.

Above all, she was a devoted mother. She loved her daughters unconditionally and took great pride in their lives. She cherished time they spent together, whether it was getting pedicures, going to the Kenosha Harbor Market, or enjoying simple outings. Those moments filled with love were what she treasured most.

Misty shared her life with her partner, Geoffrey Beauford, in Dixon, where they lived on their farm. She found happiness in caring for their animals, especially their horses, and took pride in helping build parts of their farm. She enjoyed being outdoors, riding the tractor, and contributing to the life they created together.

Misty’s love, kindness, and the way she cared for those around her will always be remembered. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
