Marek Bakowski, 67, of Chicago and born in Poland, passed away January 14, 2023. Beloved husband of Anna Chelstowska.
Marek's passion was sailing. He was a member of Joseph Conrad Yacht Club in Chicago and a proud owner of his Glass Slipper boat. Now he is sailing the endless celestial ocean.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28th, at St. Constance Church, 5843 W Strong St., Chicago. Burial will take place in Poland.
67-letni Marek Bakowski z Chicago, urodzony w Polsce, zmarł 14 stycznia 2023 roku. Ukochany mąż Anna Chelstowska.
Pasją Marka było żeglarstwo. Był członkiem Joseph Conrad Yacht Club w Chicago i dumnym właścicielem jego łodzi Glass Slipper. Teraz żegluje po nieskończonym niebiańskim oceanie.
Msza żałobna zostanie odprawiona o godzinie 13:00 w sobotę, 28 stycznia, w kościele św. Konstancji, 5843 W Strong St., Chicago. Pogrzeb odbędzie się w Polsce.
