John "Jack" Frazier, born on February 11, 1958, in Chicago, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Jack was the beloved husband of Linda, nee Barone; loving father of Jennifer Frazier (Pete Jagla), Gregory (Jennifer) Frazier, Mitchell (Samantha) Frazier and Candice (Gregory) Cholewinski; cherished grandfather of Gianni, Frank, Jake, Eloise, Daniel, George, Luke and Savannah; devoted son of the late George (Dottie) Frazier and the late Jenny Frazier, nee Valenza; dear brother of Robert Frazier, Debbie Atkins and the late George Frazier; he was also the treasured uncle, cousin and lifelong friend of many.
For the majority of his life, he was a gifted sign artist well-known and respected in the industry. His creativity and dedication to his work stemmed from a young age as he worked alongside his father for many years and eventually established his own successful company.
Jack truly was a kind generous man to all. A soul with a heart of gold, deeply cherished by all who knew him. His love and devotion for family extended beyond measure. Nothing brought him more joy than quality time spent with his beloved grandchildren, who were indeed his pride and joy. He was a loyal friend to many. Never refusing to lend a helping hand.
Jack always had a zest for life. He had numerous passions that extended to a love of traveling and an affinity with all kinds of music. He was a classic car enthusiast. A true foodie, Jack had an exceptional knack for discovering the best culinary delights. He was always eager to share his love of food with family and friends. His laughter, his joy, his sense of humor and enthusiasm was a testimony to how much he loved his life and all the people who knew him.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Avenue, Norridge. Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, May 21st from 9:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Parish, 4646 N. Austin Ave, Chicago. Inurnment will take place privately at a later date at All Saints Cemetery in DesPlaines.
Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or trees may be planted in memory of Jack.
