A proud graduate of Northern Illinois University, Edgar distinguished himself in the field of biological supply as a partner in the Coe-Palm Biological Supply House, where he dedicated many years of his life. His career was marked not only by professional success but also by his kindness and approachability, qualities that endeared him to colleagues and customers alike.
Edgar was known for his gentle spirit and his unique ability to uplift others with humor. He loved to tell corny jokes and enjoyed sharing stories with his cousin, Ron, particularly about their mutual fascination with streetcars. He was very knowledgeable about the city of Chicago, and his impressive memory allowed him to reminisce fondly about the past, sharing tales that often brought laughter and joy to gatherings. A compassionate person, Edgar loved and took exceptional care of animals, showcasing his kind-hearted nature throughout his life.

A memorial gathering to honor Edgar's life will be held on Wednesday. November 12, 2025, at Memory Gardens Cemetery Chapel, located at 2501 East Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, Illinois. The gathering will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM in the Memory Gardens Cemetery Chapel.
