Donna M. (Rowe) Tomkins

Donna M. Tomkins, 58, of Ottawa, passed away April 2, 2020.  Loving mother of Jennifer (Ricky Huls, partner), Emily, Brian and Sarah Tomkins; cherished grandmother of Fiona and Aiden; beloved daughter of the late Charles Russell and the late Catherine June Rowe, nee O'hara, raised by Sharon Kujawa (guardian); dearest sister of Terri (Dave) Zednik and Charles (Margaret) Rowe; fond aunt of Keith Zednik, Charlie (Julie) Rowe, Tim and Katie Rowe.

Donna was a graduate of Lourdes High School in 1979 and attended Moraine Valley Junior College.  She worked at the Chicago Board of Trade for Yamagoichu trading firm in the mid 1980’s before settling down to begin her most important role in life, being a mother. Donna was a strong and caring woman who was passionate about her family and possessed an unparalleled devotion to her children. She was always there for everyone she cared about and fiercely loyal. She had a deep love for music and enjoyed spending time with loved ones along with playing games together. She will be profoundly missed and never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life event will be announced and held at a later date.  Interment private.
